Payment methods accepted: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Western Union, Moneygram, cashiers check, Paypal, money order and Affirm Financing monthly payments.
Shipment of items: Please allow up to 10 business days from the date of making payment to receive your order (although most orders are received within 2 to 6 business days). If you would like order status information on your package please email or call us and we will get back to you with tracking info as soon as possible. If the request is urgent please write “urgent” on the email subject line. All orders ship via UPS, USPS or FedEx. You will automatically be emailed tracking info once your items ship if ordered on the web site. You can track the progress of your package using this information at the shipping companies website. If you do not receive a tracking number via email within 4 business days from making payment please email us with a request and include your shipping name, order date and address that you made payment with. We must have all of this information to look up your order.
Signature confirmation: We automatically include signature confirmation on all orders over $750. This means that someone needs to be present to sign for the package at the delivery address. If no one is available, the delivery driver may attempt to deliver the package the next day or leave a notice for you to retrieve the package at the nearest shipping facility. For orders under $750, there is no signature service and the package may be left on the door step or other area on the property. If no one is going to be available to sign for the package on the delivery date, we highly recommend adding signature service to your order. We charge an additional fee of $5 for this service. Please contact us directly if you wish to have this service added to your order. Under no circumstances will Universal Car Lifts be liable for theft of packages from your property. If you do not have signature service added to your order, you are solely responsible for the package once the delivery driver drops it off. If the tracking information for the package shows “delivered”, it is considered in your possession and your responsibility from that point in time onward.
Money Orders / Cashiers Checks: Please send money orders or cashiers checks to 30593 Pearl Dr Ste 2, St Joseph, MN 56374. Include your email address, name, address, phone number, and a description of what is ordered when making payment. You must include all this info in order for us to process your order quickly. You can calculate shipping costs by clicking “buy now” on each item (it will give you the shipping cost per item) Most items can not be shipped together there for we do not combine shipping costs. All Money orders / Cashiers checks will be verified legitimate before item is shipped.
Multiple Quantity Discounts / Wholesale: Please see our wholesale information page for more information. We do offer multiple quantity discounts for orders containing more than 4 items (not including bushing / ball joint purchases) Please email us for a custom quote.
Large dollar amount orders: All credit card orders over $1000 must have a signed credit card verification form on file. We will fax/email you this form- you must send it back to us signed with a copy of the front + back of the credit card used and a copy of your drivers license. We do not accept credit cards for orders over $3500. Orders over $3500 must be paid via money order, cashiers check, wire transfer, or Western Union.
Returns & Cancellations: We only accept returns on new unused items. No exceptions- if the item has bushings installed, is scratched, has been installed on a car, or is not in brand new resalable condition you can not return it. Returns must be authorized within 5 business days from the date you received your items. The purchaser is responsible for all return shipping costs. There is a 35% restocking fee on all returned items. You must contact us and get a return authorization number before sending the items back to us. This number must be clearly written on the package. Packages received without a return authorization number will be discarded and no refund issued. Please be sure to package your items securely before shipping them back to us as we can not give refunds for items that are not in brand new condition. If you throw the items in a box without packaging and send them back to us without an RMA number on the box we will discard the items and no refund will be issued. If you have questions on this please feel free to ask. Shipping charges are non refundable. If you are returning an item because you can not figure out how to install the item or a shop can not figure out how to install an item please email or call us and a technician will explain how to install the item to you. We have installed hundreds of these lifts in many different cars and can tell you how to get the parts to work properly. Custom ordered or built items can not be returned or canceled- including grill overlays, strut modifications, rear end gear kits, and other items modified by us. We do not accept returns or cancellations on any brake components including big brake kits, drilled and/or slotted rotors, calipers, brake lines, etc. You must notify us by phone immediately if you wish to cancel your order. Most orders ship immediately, thus it is important to notify us as soon as possible. Once the order ships, it can no longer be canceled. Canceled orders are subject to a 6% cancellation fee. We can not guarantee that an order will be eligible for cancellation.
Exchanges: We accept exchanges for items. Please email us for more info.
Lost or damaged packages: All lost packages must be verified via carrier. If your package is damaged upon receiving you MUST make note to the UPS driver. On lost packages the carrier will do a brief trace on the package which may take 1-4 business days. After we receive confirmation that the package is lost in transit we will initiate a claim with the carrier and immediately send you a new package while the claim is being investigated. If at any time the carrier finds the package or you receive the original package you must return it to us within 10 business days (or your card will be charged a second time for receiving 2 packages). You must cooperate with us during the claim process. We send our packages assuming that someone will be there to sign for delivery. If no one is available, they will leave the package on your doorstep. If you do not want the package left on your doorstep, you must notify us via email when ordering so that we can add signature delivery. UCL is not responsible for package theft from your property.
Missing product in package / incorrect item received: You must notify us within 1 business day of receiving your package of any shortages or incorrect items in your order. We will then verify the weights of the package to ensure that the item is missing. If a shortage or incorrect item is found, we will send you a replacement item immediately via the same shipping method you originally used for the original package. Under no exceptions will overnight service be offered free of charge unless the original means of shipping was overnight service. No exceptions. Also, expedited shipping charges will not be refunded if the package is determined to have a shortage. Please note that we do everything to ensure that all items in your order get properly packaged all the time (especially with overnight shipments). If you would like to assume the costs of the up charge for overnight shipping we would happy to get your shortage to you faster. Please email or call us with any questions you may have regarding this before placing an order.
Custom built / cut / ordered / modified products: All custom products take 7-10 business days to ship (most ship out faster but we quote 7-10 days). This includes strut modifications, custom wheel plate bolt patterns, custom wheel plate designs, grill overlays, big rim rear end gear kits, and big brake upgrade kits. These items are NOT returnable and can not be cancelled once ordered.
Suitability of product for application: Purchasers understand that installing car lift kits is complex and sometimes involve customizations to the products and vehicles. By purchasing products from this website, users agree that they will not dispute the functionality or description of the product when it does not work for their custom application. It is the responsibility of the person installing the product to determine the suitability of the component or kit for that particular application. You, or the person who does the installation must know how to properly use this product. During the checkout process, there is an entry that asks for your vehicle’s make, model and year. This information is for our internal use only and does not guarantee that the product(s) you are purchasing will fit that particular vehicle. In order to ship out our packages as quickly as possible, we do not verify the vehicle data that you entered is acceptable for the product(s) you are purchasing. If you are not sure if a particular product fits your vehicle, it is essential to call or email us to verify suitability before placing the order. It is not possible over the phone to understand or foresee all the issues that might arise in your installation. For this reason, we request all technical support be handled via email by providing us pictures of your vehicle’s suspension and the parts you received from us. Suspension equipment must be maintained and should be checked regularly for fatigue, damage and wear. Due to OEM production differences and other variations from vehicle to vehicle, the fastener hardware and other components of this kit may not be suitable for a specific application or vehicle. It is the responsibility of the purchaser and installer to verify suitability / fitment of all components and ensure all fasteners and hardware achieve complete and proper engagement. Not all installation shops are qualified to install aftermarket suspension components. We are unable to offer refunds due to your installation shop not knowing how or refusing to install your suspension kit. We are happy to provide you with a list of qualified experienced installation shops in your area. If you would like the name and number of a qualified installation shop, please contact us for more information.
Specific fitment guidelines: Due to the large amount of sizes and combinations, UCL does not guarantee specific rim or tire fitment on any application. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify rim fitment. Some rims will not be compatible with our kits including rims with too high of offset. Stock rims may not work if the rim diameter is too small or the factory rim has a high offset. You can correct most rim fit issues by using a wheel adapter or a wheel spacer. We do not include the wheel spacers with the kit and they must be purchased separately if needed. Our technicians will never guarantee a particular rim to fit. They will only make suggestions based off feedback from other users. We highly recommend measuring your vehicle accurately to ensure a proper fit. We can not accept returns if your parts are not suitable due to fitment issues with the wheels and tires.
Off-road use only: Our products are designed for off-road use only. The end user bears all responsibility for use on a public roadway.
