T-Pain from Nappy Boy Entertainment’s 1987 Cutlass FBSS Air Ride Kit

This air ride donk kit stands out as one of the coolest custom lift kit projects we have done. Auto Extremes out of Conyers, Georgia, does all of the customizing on T-Pain’s rides. They have built his infamous ’72 Impala known as the “Joker Impala”, which is running a Universal Car Lifts 12″ complete kit. A few of the other rides that they worked on include his 1967 Impala with our 7″ kit for 65-70 B bodies.

Why would T-Pain enlist Auto Extremes to be the sole customizer of all his whips? The fact that he is half owner in the business may have something to do with it. Most people would call that a genius move on T-Pain’s part. If your going to be a world famous rapper with one of the dopest customized car collections around, it’s pretty convenient to own a customizing shop. With plenty of celebrity friends to hook up, Auto Extremes has continued to push out pure insanity.

Co-owner Robert Robinson is the mechanical brains behind most of the creations this shop does. He has worked directly with famous celebrities whips including Chris Brown, Neyo, Keri Hilson, Trey Songz, Ciara, and Young Cash. With over 15 years in business, they are one of the best options in the south eastern United States for getting your ride set up proper.

The kit shown above was built completely custom for T-Pain’s 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass. Wanting something completely unique for this wild ride, Auto Extremes requested that we custom cut the Nappy Boy logo in the front of the cross member. The Nappy Boy logo was digitized and cut by one of our state of the art CNC machines.

This kit is unique in that it replaces the coil springs with air bags. The air suspension provides an ultra smooth ride quality and allows T-Pain to “hit the switches” at random. The controls include a 10 switch box, 8 high quality ride valves, dual air tanks and dual compressors. An old school whip with front, back and side to side rocking big rims? Yea mane!
