Donk, Box & Bubble Magazine features Imani Sakurs 72′ Impala

Donk, Box & Bubble Magazine recently featured a beautiful metallic black 1972 donk belonging to Hollywood movie producer Imani Sakur. The donk is running 26 inch rims with low profile tires and a 12 inch complete Universal Car Lifts kit.

The interior of the car is completely redone in a classic style with reupholstered seats done in black leather. The wood steering wheel really sets off the overall cleanliness of the entire project. West coast donks always seem to hold true to this level of clean. Seemingly never ostentatious, the cars look right at home with the California car customizing scene.

The suspension kit on this car includes UCL lift spacer cups, extended front control arms, extended adjustable rear trailing arms, lift spindles and extended gas charged lift shocks. Installation typically takes an experienced shop around 4-6 hours.

This is the same car that Imani used to participate in the Gumball 3000 rally. The event was special due to the fact that this was the first time they allowed a donk to participate in the rally. The Gumball Rally is a collection of some of the world’s most extreme sports cars including exotics like Lamborghini, Ferrari, Mercedes and more. Check out our blog post we wrote about the first ever donk to enter the Gumball 3000 rally here.
