Check out this custom air ride lift kit we did that was featured in King of the Street magazine. The kit was built for TV celebrity Chop from A&E’s King of Cars TV series. His car is a 1975 Chevy Caprice Classic hard top riding on 26 inch wheels.
The kit includes a custom CNC cut engine cradle cross member with chops logo cut out of the center. The “TC” logo is featured prominently on the cross member with a punched metal back ground to compliment the logo.
Other features of the kit include extra beefy 2″ diameter rear trailing arms to handle the estimated 1000 horse power from the engine. The trailing arms use massive threaded connections that are able to handle the increased power out put from the engine plus some.
Our high riser lift kits utilize extended length UCL fabricated lift spindles. UCL spindles are built incredibly strong from CNC machined and treated spindle pins. The brake caliper mounting is provided from extra beefy machined mounting brackets that are precision welded to the spindle pin. The design uses improved geometry to keep the ride smooth and handling on par.
All UCL high riser kits also include an upgraded braking system that is integrated in to the front spindle assembly. The braking system is a necessary upgrade when running a lift of this size and greatly improves vehicle stopping distance.
Extended brake lines with relocation brackets are included with the package. The upper ball joint is replaced with an extra heavy duty unit to maintain the strength and integrity needed in a lifted application.
All UCL high rider kits come with an extensive installation manual showing step by step how to install a lift kit in a donk. Parts are finished in a high quality powder coated finish for years of durability. All components of the kit also include a lifetime warranty against manufacturers defects. Our friendly tech support staff is always available to answer any questions you may have.
